My name is Vivianne Lane and I serve as the Marketing and Communications director. I'm a 70's baby and a native New Yorker born and raised in the heart of St. Albans, and parts of Hollis Queens, but my heart has always had a southern connection. My passion has always been for the betterment of children, so after my HS graduation I moved to Florida to further my education. (I went as far south as I could go). I attended Edward Waters College, now Edward Waters University in Jacksonville Fl., and received a bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have taught children of all ages. During my last year in college I met a young man in the Service. Courted for 7yrs, and finally agreed to marry him April 9, 1999. Yes! He's a southern boy! After his retirement in 2009 we moved to Atlanta so he could be closer to his family. I'm a sister, wife, aunt, and God-Mother. I have an older sister still in New York, 11 nieces and nephews, a grand niece and nephew, and two God-sons. I am truly blessed when it comes to family. In my spare time I enjoy reading, singing, watching old televisions shows, musicals, and the Hallmark channel. I sometimes like to sit and watch nature as it is. It really IS a glorious world! I believe as we work together we can build a stronger generation, and make a greater foundation within our youth. With our platform I believe it's possible. BELIEVE WITH ME!
